Delivery Orders received before 11am on a working day will be dispatched the same day. All other orders will be dispatched the next working day. In the majority of cases goods will be delivered the next working day following dispatch, although delivery to Highlands and Islands may take longer. We are only able to deliver to UK addresses and regret we are unable to ship to Northern Ireland through our website at this time. Deliveries are charged at £6.99 flat-rate with the exception of Highlands and Islands where shipping is calculated by weight; if additional charges apply to your postal area, this will be calculated and displayed at the time of order. Flat-rate delivery charge is offered at the sole discretion of The Bottle Bank and we reserve the right to increase this charge at any time for exceptionally large orders. If this is going to be the case we will contact you and advise you appropriately. You will be given the option to cancel your order at this point should you wish. Deliveries will normally be carried out by courier. Deliveries will take place during office hours Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. We recommend using delivery address where someone will be present to accept the delivery - such as a workplace. If you have any special delivery requirements please indicate in the "Comments" field when placing your order. We will pass these to our couriers who will try to accommodate your requests wherever possible but this cannot be guaranteed. Please be advised, if you request that the goods be left in a particular place in your absence, we are unable to accept any liability for any theft, loss or damage to goods resulting from this. Under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003, it is an offence for persons under 18 years of age to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol. It is also an offence for anyone to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol for someone under 18 years of age. The recipient of the order must be above 18 years of age and may be asked for proof of their age upon delivery. Cancellations/Returns All deliveries must be thoroughly checked for breakages and shortfalls at the time of delivery before being signed for. We are unable to reimburse for any breakages or shortfalls unless they are advised to the delivery driver upon delivery. You must notify us of any problems with your order as soon as possible either by email or by phone on 01326 218 319. We will provide a full refund for any wine which is deemed to be out of condition. We may require the wine to be returned to us and will refund any postage costs incurred. We will refund any missing or damaged items provided the delivery driver is notified at the time of delivery and we are notified within 3 working days of delivery. Under Distance Selling Regulations, you may cancel your order for any reason within 7 days of receiving the goods. We will refund the full amount paid however you will be liable for the postage costs incurred in returning the goods to us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
